Jazz	Tap
Hip/Hop	Tiny Toes
Cheerleading	Technique Classes

Summer dance workshops are a good time to try new dance types. These classes allow students to work at their own pace, and students of different ages sometimes are placed in the same class. All classes meet once a day for five days and will have a performance during the last half hour of the last class. Five Year old Tiny/Toes can take a Hip/Hop or Cheerleading class during the summer instead of a Tiny/Toe Class. The jazz and tap classes will meet once a week for a one hour class.

Fees

Students may pre-pay for all sessions with this form, or attend class on a drop-in basis if space is available. Drop-in students must pay the drop-in fee before the class begins that day. Workshop fees are refundable if cancelled before June 15. Teaching staff will be indicated on your confirmation notice classes

Jazz, Lyrical and Tap Students

Many of our students have asked to have these classes during the summer months so as to stay current in their technique and the enjoyment of these classes. These classes may help the students to move up a level in their classes in the fall. Bailey will be instructing the jazz/lyrical classes and Bailey will also have a technique class for third, fourth and fifth graders. . We will have a drop in fee for these classes.

Hip/Hop Competition Teams

We hope to have a Jr. team and senior team this year. More information in July, 2013.

Class Information

Musical Classes

The classes will consist of singing, acting, improvisation, and learning how to audition for a performance. Musical Theater Classes are offered for beginners and advanced students. Musical Theater Classes will be taught by Kim. There will be a performance by the students on the last Friday.

Hip/Hop Teams

The Jr. Team is for 6, 7, 8 graders and the senior team is for 9, 10, 11, 12 graders

Tiny/Toes

These classes are for students three to four years of age. For new Tiny/Toes students who will join us in September these classes introduce the students to our program and instructors. We will only use ballet shoes for the summer classes. If our new students want to join us in the fall then the Tiny/Toe classes require tap and ballet shoes. The store next to the studio sell our dance shoes at a very reasonable price.

Cheerleading

Cheerleading classes are fun for the students. The students learn dance, cheers, and how to work together in these activities. Many students like to take these classes to try something different then Hip/Hop.

Tap

Margot will work each student at their own pace. The goal is to advance all students in tap technique.

Contemporary and Technique Classes

Bailey will work all of the student at their own pace. The goal of this class is that the students will stay in shape and not lose all the hard work they did this past year in their classes. Bailey would like some of her third to fifth graders to take these classes if they are in town. She would like to work on their turns, leaps, etc.
